Inventors Mentoring Services

Inventors Headquarters is not an organization or group or a commercial business. It is more of a mentoring service provided by a middle-aged man that is tired of writing and rewriting agreements with companies. I am more of a guidance counselor for inventor beginners. I challenge, steer, focus, and lead others while at the same time am myself developing, looking and researching the advancing of my own personal product lines. I just want to see the group of Inventors I work with grow and learn and develop their own ideas and learn basic fundamental stepping stone concepts for advancing their own ideas. All without cost to the user. I want to provide as many free services as possible so the individual will have at his or her disposal as many tools necessary to advance their ideas as far as possible on their own.

At Inventors Headquarters we use a message board system to query the Editor on all types of subjects. From developing prototypes to finding manufacturers, from royalty agreements to licensing agreements, we even step over into Copyrights and Trademarks at times. All the while the goal being to encourage the Inventor to get the idea into a form where it can be produced/manufactured, and tested. Then by taking the developed product to the manufacturer with the least amount of expense and hassle as possible.

We stick mostly to the basics of licensing agreements using Nondisclosure agreements (NDA) to bind the company into development of the product with the protection of not having the idea stolen from us by using the NDA. At times we encourage using a Provisional Patent Application to get us in the door by using some binding prior art protection and a patent pending status that it affords us.

I do not assume to be an expert or have I ever declared myself as such. With over sixty (currently –December 2003) differing products and four separate lines of products with several different companies, I find myself just a bit ahead in the road looking back over my shoulder, wanting to help others to not step into some of the same pitfalls and mistakes I may have made along the way.

I am dedicated to seeing others succeed in the area I feel is a cornerstone to our heritage. Whether you are in Spain or Cuba, France or the Middle East, Japan or Sweden, or right here in my own backyard (USA), the message is the same, the entrepreneurial spirit is what makes us alive. The ability to think and reason within your self that there must be a better/ quicker/ faster way to do things and then turn and have others benefit by them is truly the basic of all human existence.
